Aboitiz InfraCapital Economic Estates Recognized for Sustainable Industrial Design and Performance at the Green Building Awards 2024

At the Building Green 2024 conference, Jolan Formalejo also shared insights into the company’s vision for the next generation of smart and sustainable industrial estates in the Philippines. He highlighted numerous sustainability efforts, including initiatives to decarbonize its estates, reduce energy dependency, the smart and efficient use of water, and the sustainable development and construction practices within the Economic Estates. A panel discussion also took place, alongside leading developers in the country to discuss community involvement in urban planning. The panel emphasised the importance of engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and priorities and ensure that development projects align with community goals.
The culmination of the event was the PHILGBC Leadership in Green Building Awards ceremony, where LIMA Estate’s recognition further solidified its position as a pioneer in the field. This accolade also positions LIMA Estate to proudly represent the Philippines as a regional nominee for the World Green Building Council’s Asia Pacific Leadership in Green Building Awards.
